Invitation-only private beta
Terms of Use
Effective August 4, 2026 for the controlled private beta. This wording is operationally implemented but has not yet been approved for general commercial release.
Private-beta agreement and review status
These terms govern invitation-only access to the Chapterwise private beta. They are implemented as the current beta operating draft and remain subject to review and approval by Chapterwise legal counsel before general commercial release. A separately published immutable agreement version may be presented for acceptance in the application; that accepted version controls if it conflicts with this public summary.
Eligibility and invitations
You must be legally able to enter this agreement in Canada and use only an invitation issued to you or a household you are authorized to join. Invitations and access codes are personal, time-limited security credentials. Do not sell, transfer, publish or share them with an unintended person. Chapterwise may limit, suspend or revoke beta access to protect participants or the service.
Educational planning estimates
Chapterwise is educational decision-support software. It does not provide individualized financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, act as a fiduciary, or recommend a security or transaction. Projections depend on assumptions and supported rules and are not promises of market returns, benefit eligibility, tax results, plan sustainability or future outcomes. Confirm important decisions with qualified professionals and official sources.
Accounts, households and acceptable use
Keep your sign-in method secure and provide accurate information to the extent needed for useful estimates. Household owners manage membership and household deletion. Do not access another person's data without authorization, probe or bypass security, disrupt the service, upload malicious material, automate abusive traffic, reverse engineer protected portions except where law permits, or use Chapterwise for unlawful activity.
Plans, subscriptions and beta billing
The permanent Free entitlement remains available to invited eligible households subject to these terms. Standard and Premium capabilities are governed by the application's entitlement engine. During the current private beta, Stripe checkout is test mode and must not create a real charge. Any future live price, renewal, cancellation and refund policy must be clearly presented before a real purchase and incorporated into legally approved commercial terms.
Ownership, feedback and availability
You retain rights in information you provide. Chapterwise and its licensors retain rights in the software, design, content and methodology, excluding your data. You grant the limited rights needed to host and process your information to operate the service. Beta feedback may be used without obligation provided Chapterwise does not publicly identify you without permission. Beta features may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn, and no uninterrupted or error-free service is promised.
Responsibility and disputes
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Chapterwise is provided during beta without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded, and Chapterwise is not responsible for decisions made solely from an estimate or for indirect or consequential loss. Consumer rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected. Governing-law, liability-cap, dispute-resolution, operator-identity and formal notice clauses require final legal approval before general commercial release.
Ending access and changes
You may stop using Chapterwise and request deletion through supported controls. Chapterwise may suspend access for security, abuse, legal or operational reasons. Material beta-term changes will be communicated through the application or the verified invitation channel, and a new required agreement may be presented at sign-in. Questions should be raised through the support thread associated with your invitation.
